SAFIRE’s head office is situated in Harare. It is here where the directorate sits and makes strategic decisions that guide the day to day operations. It is also here where the Programmes Unit Coordinator, Research and development, Information and networks and the Administration team sits.
SAFIRE works with more than 20,000 households in poor and marginalised communities in marginalised communities in Africa. We work with rural communities in 21 districts of Zimbabwe. SAFIRE’s areas of operation are divided into regions- Eastern Region, South Eastern Region and North Eastern Region. Working through district officers and field facilitators, these teams are responsible for overseeing the day to day implementation of SAFIRE’s programmes on the ground ensuring that communities participate and impact is yielded. We also have projects in Zambia and work through strategic partners in Malawi, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Chad, Uganda and Mali.
